Flying deer, sideways penguins and other arctic oddities

I bought this game for my kids and its almost impossible for them to play.. :(. More often than not the prey are horizontal and running away or just standing there. When you attack them (if they dont magically go right through a mountain or travel right through you) they magically fly through the air making them impossible to catch. Ive tried changing the visual settings to see if that was the problem but no such luck.. On more than one occasion the bear has been trapped/suspended in nothingness or stuck in a mountain or invisible walls.. Great idea (thats why I didnt give it 0 stars) but I want my money back!
